The cabin is situated close to the small town of Remsen, New York. Its remote location and small-town charm offer a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. It provides a perfect escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of the big city crowds.

The Hinckley Reservoir is across the street, which makes this a great location if you’re interested in kayaking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, or swimming.

Marvel at the gorgeous forest settings while sitting around the fire, explore the picturesque Hinckley Reservoir, take a ride on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, or spend the day enjoying one of the area’s amusement parks or golf courses. Hit the trails for some mountain biking or hiking, or venture into Old Forge to discover many exciting attractions and landmarks.

During the winter, there are great places for snowmobiling, skiing, skating, ice fishing, and much more!

We recommend that you arrive in a car as it will give you much freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful Remsen area. As you already know, we offer a free parking spot.

There is a large Amish community, so you might have to drive around a horse and buggy. Be sure to smile and wave.

Covid-19 has shown us the importance of creating a sterile environment for our staff and guests. So, to keep future guests and our staff safe from possible infection, we have adopted a policy that requires our guests to place their laundry in the “Fresh-Air Bin” at our on-site “Laundry Shed” upon check-out. This will give your soiled laundry a “24-hour fresh air sterilization period” before our cleaners can take care of it. Thank you for being so cooperative.

★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.
